ADAPT of Texas and the Texas Civil Rights Project will hold a press conference on the 22nd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, ADA.  The ADA was signed into law 22 years ago to “tear down the shameful wall of discrimination” as President George Bush said at the signing.  ADAPT and TCRP celebrate the improvements that have come over the past decades, but vow to continue to to fight for inclusive communities and for equality for people with disabilities and will be announcing their efforts for this year..  Desert ADAPT (ADAPT of Texas’ El Paso compadres) will also be joining with TCRP in El Paso, to enforce the ADA.  Contact David Wittie  or Joseph Berra (TCRP) for details 474-5073
